Elena Barari - *Pain Free Hygienist
Qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2013, Elena has established herself as a friendly, personable and gentle hygienist. She loves working with people to overcome their fear as she knows that the first step is the most difficult, but as soon as you take that first leap, you will find it is so much easier after that and not as bad as you thought.
Elena has continued to keep up with the latest skills and knowledge by continually attending courses. She is extremely grateful for taking a Dental Hypnosis course – a 6-day course to allow her to make her patients feel at ease. Hypnosis is merely a term; the act just involves the patient closing their eyes and she describes a setting of choice which allows the mind to be distracted and relaxed. She thinks it is a great adjunct to her hygiene appointments to allow her patients to feel at ease during the session.
She is also trained to provide Facial Aesthetic treatments – including wrinkle relaxing, natural filler enhancements and facial rejuvenation.
Outside of work, Elena is an avid Latin dancer and enjoys a variation of salsa, bachata and kizomba. She also flosses daily, as a lot of patients like to ask. She loves Turkish coffee, travelling, good conversations and lots of laughter – who doesn’t right?
